Founded in 1887, California State University, Chico (also known as Chico State) is a residential college located in the heart of downtown Chico. Built on land donated by the Bidwell family, Chico State began as a teachers college and has turned into one of the top regional public universities. Traditionally all the marketing professionals involved in real estate transactions were legally and ethically obligated to conduct business on behalf of the seller.
